Hi Reader,
A few weeks ago, I signed my 8-year-old up for a “Ninja” class at a local gymnastics gym.
It’s basically an hour of parkour chaos - foam pits, flips, and very questionable cartwheels. (He says he’s “25% there,” which feels wildly generous. 😂)
But originally, he was not excited to go.
Like… would’ve much rather been home playing Roblox on his iPad.
(Or watching someone else play Roblox on YouTube 🙃)
But I nudged him. Okay, pushed him.
And after his class this week, he sprinted over to me, out of breath, eyes sparkling, cheeks flushed, and yelled:
“THAT WAS THE MOST FUN I’VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.”
I’m not gonna lie - I'm still smiling from that moment.
And the kicker? He got to do it all with his best friend while I got quality mom time with my best friend (his BFF's mom). 10/10, would recommend.
It got me thinking -
So many of our best moments start with hesitation.
Resistance isn’t always a stop sign - it’s often the warm-up before something great.
And it’s the same with marketing.
Maybe you’ve been dragging your feet on sending a bold email…
Or launching something you’ve been thinking about forever…
Or finally writing that sales page that’s been haunting your Google Drive…
Can I give you a gentle mom-nudge?
Sometimes a tiny push leads to your “THIS IS THE MOST FUN EVER” moment.
Even if you’re only 25% cartwheel-ready. 😉
👉 So, what’s the thing you’ve been hesitating to do in your business?
Give it a go. I’ll be the one on the sidelines with the biggest smile.
🧡 Hayley
